What are the CA certificate files?

The CA certificate files show the digital chain of authentication validating the identity of the issuer of the SSL certificate.  These files must be present when installing the certificate to avoid any validation errors.   You can download Comodo CA certificate files at https://Dotology.com/help/guides/ca-certs.zip and Geotrust CA files at https://www.geotrust.com/resources/root-certificates/index.html.
